The 30 year old musician made the official announcement on July 21 in a post to his fans on Instagram.
Park's song, 'Mommae,' (featuring South Korean rapper Ugly Duck) already has more than 18 million views on YouTube. The two rap both in English and Korean in the song.
Park is proud of his accomplishment, saying "This is a win for the Town. This is a win for Korea. This is a win for Asian Americans."
